Who receives the money when I buy an eGift Card through this directory?
Each local store listed on Operation Main Street that offers a gift card receives 100% of the related payments and profits. Operation Main Street is simply a directory that aggregates a list of local stores by zip code and displays their gift card pages publicly. Neither Operation Main Street nor eGifter sells gift cards, sells data or collects any funds.
Why isn't my favorite store listed in the Operation Main Street directory?
There are a few reasons why your favorite store may not be listed. For one thing, they may not sell their gift cards online. Or, if they do, perhaps we have not yet found the link to their gift card page. At the moment, only a fraction of local businesses in the U.S. sell their gift cards online. It is our great hope that many more will come online as they look for ways to drive revenue during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.

Can I purchase a Visa or Amex gift card through this directory?
No. By design, the store-branded gift cards accessible from Operation Main Street are meant to benefit the local store, shop or business itself. Visa and American Express gift cards are not the same as the *store* gift card.
